About AEGIS

Aegis Energy Systems Inc designs, builds and supports lithium iron phosphate energy storage in San Diego, California. We are the manufacturer: we assemble the modules and cabinets, write the controls and monitoring software, and machine our own parts.

The name

In Greek myth, the aegis was the shield of Zeus and Athena. Our name also stands for American Energy Guardian Infrastructure Security: storage that stands guard over the power a home, a business or a mission depends on.

What we build in-house

Keeping the work under one roof is how we keep each pairing locked and each system supported for the life of its warranty.

President

Atlas Pendleton

Atlas Pendleton brings more than forty years at the leading edge of technology. An inventor with a builder's hands and an artist's eye, Atlas sets the direction for what AEGIS makes next and how it should look and work, with a focus on the long view: where energy storage needs to be in ten years, and how AEGIS gets there first.
